SMA MASTER Scanner 1

The SMA MASTER 1 is a heavy-duty A1 book scanner for very thick books that need to be digitized with very high optical resolution.

  • Multiple possibilities

    Thanks to its unique tripod book stand, the SCAN MASTER 1 3650 can be used as an A1 book scanner, A0 book scanner and A0 flatbed scanner. With a standard motorized book stand with a reach of 35 cm, it can handle really big items. If that wasn’t enough, a 50cm motorized book holder is optionally available.

  • Ease of use

    Operation of the SMA Scanner MASTER 1 A1 Book Scanner is easy and convenient. Simply place the book and press the scan button. The rest of the process is fully automatic. All the operator has to do is turn the page and edit the scan.

  • Unique abilities

    Newly designed scanning technology that produces results that look like 3D. The process is based on different lighting scenarios as the same area is captured in several different lighting scenarios on the fly. The software then merges the separate images into one. As a result, V3D images provide perfect reproductions of almost any textured surface. Plus it greatly increases the depth of field. This approach is unique and takes the outstanding image quality of SMA scanners to another level. The V3D function can be disabled and a regular 2D scan can be performed.
