Tascent MX is compatible with the world’s leading smartphone devices (now including Android™ and Samsung Galaxy S®) adding best-in-class biometric capability to mature and secure mobile computing platforms.

Multi-generation device support

Tascent MX has a flexible design that is tailored for OtterBox universe but not specifically locked to any smartphone form factor. That way, when devices change shape from one generation to the next, Tascent MX can readily adapt.

Easy connect and disconnect

Operators can use the mobile device independent of the Tascent MX by simply removing it when not in use.

The Tascent Mobile App can synchronize seamlessly with standards-based tools offered by Tascent and offers matching for up to 100,000 records using 3rd party-validated algorithms.

Enhanced document authentication

Support for ISO 7816 secure access module (SAM) card reading and a built-in UV illumination provide additional security checks for document authentication.
